Adam Brooks is the sales, marketing and media guy at MarketDigita. While earning his BA at The University of North Carolina at Asheville, he focused on media communications and political science. He served on several editorial and advisory boards, and his undergraduate research was conducted in both advertising theory and political polling and agenda setting. His professional career, prior to and concurrent with MarketDigita, LLC, includes leadership and managerial sales roles in the professional training, automotive and software industries. In addition to heading up multiple successful sales departments, he also has presented and spoken to various professional organizations and companies, offering sales, marketing, and communication training and solutions—interweaving solid sales tactics with common-sense approaches to build successful sales teams across the country.
Steve Dowty of ASHEVILLE DESIGN WORKS is the design guru and wordsmith for MarketDigita. He has experience as a reporter, newsletter editor, magazine art director, and designer dating back more than thirty years. Since moving to Asheville in 1992, he has worked full-time as a designer in both print and web design, for an eclectic clientele both local and national. His unique experience allows him to see both design and writing as complementary aspects of the same process: conveying information in the most efficient manner possible.
